What Is Love

“What Is Love: The Invisible Thread of the Soul

By Kiana JoyPublished 12 months ago 1 min read

What Is Love?

What is love, this touchless thing,

That hides in shadows, yet makes hearts sing?

Beyond the eyes, it softly waits,

A whispered truth that defies our fates.

It’s not in gold, nor wealth’s embrace,

But in the warmth of a fleeting face.

A force unseen, yet deeply felt,

A gentle hand when the world has knelt.

It’s the ache that lingers, sweet and sore,

A boundless ocean without a shore.

A fragile thread, yet stronger than steel,

It binds the heart and bids it heal.

What is love, but a fleeting flame,

A wild, untamed, unspoken name?

It cannot be held, yet holds us tight,

A spark that dances in endless night.

It’s found in tears, in joy, in pain,

In loss, in laughter, in summer rain.

Beyond the reach of earthly touch,

It fills the soul with just as much.

So what is love? A mystery deep,

A treasure hidden we vow to keep.

It’s not for the eyes, but the soul to see,

The silent song of eternity.
