So, what is a Thursday?

The fourth day of a workweek

hurrying to the weekend, but

understanding that

rushing this day makes it last longer and

sustaining that workers are a

determined bunch of people

anxiously awaiting the chance to

yuck it up over the weekend still two days away.

Definitely counting down the days equals Thursday. Plus the day after “hump” day.

So true, the more you want to hurry the day, the slower time crawls. Thanks goodness, mine flew by quickly and tomorrow Friday. But what is a Friday then? Maybe the star of your next poem or haiku

  • True words, thankyou for sharing xx

You’ve captured the quiet in-betweenness of a Thursday so beautifully — a day so often overlooked, yet full of subtle emotion. This poem feels like a soft pause in a noisy week. Lovely work.
