What in the name of love?

You can't make this stuff up

Heart beating

Mind racing

Cheeks blushing

Fingers lacing

around themselves, not someone else's.

Telltale heart is misleading;

it implies communication.

My heart is running everything except its mouth

Which is the one spot that might have helped.

I've heard of love.

I've watched love

stories on tv and film.

I'm holding my own hand

and staring at a stranger.

I don't think she's noticed

or else she's embarrassed too.

This can't be love,

we haven't met.

Who's that with her?

Who is that man?

Look away.

Look away!

Uh oh. She saw

me staring. He's coming

over.

Help.

Send help.
