What I need to say
Some words that I wish you could hear
It’s like you always leave me breathless.
Not just because of your beauty.
When I go to say the words, the air just leaves my body.
It’s the way that I watch you, hear you, feel the presence of you.
But then something stops me.
Is it fear? Is it reality?
Anyone that sees me knows what it is.
Do you already know?
I said it once.
You barely noticed.
I sandwiched it between other meaningless words and rushed over it.
The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them.
The count is now one time out loud,
Ten million and one times in my head.
I’m in love with you.
