What Happened To Our Earth?

Is our earth in more trouble than we know ?

What Happened To Our Earth?

What happened to our earth, so pure,

Where skies were vast, the air so sure?

The rivers sang, the forests stood,

A world of balance, understood.

Yet now the trees seem fewer, thin,

The oceans choke on plastic’s weight.

The soil once rich, a fragrant bed,

Now bears the scars of what we’ve bled.

The birds once soared in harmony,

Their songs a gift for you and me.

But silence creeps where life once thrived,

A fading echo of what we dreamed.

Did greed outshine the morning dew?

Did we forget what nature knew?

The earth, a home for all who share,

Is crying out for us to care.

Let hope be born with every hand,

That plants a seed, that heals the land.

If we unite, the earth can mend,

Its story changed—this need not end.

It is sad that more people seem not to care about the environment. I always try to do my part.
