What Do You Want to Know?

A Poem

By Mihaela VasilevaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

What do you want to know?

About the girl who likes the snow?

Or the girl who has cried,

But dares not say goodbye?

She writes her thoughts on pages,

She thinks it simple to ask what her age is.

She loves the sunshine, the moon, the forests and the rain,

But deep down she knows, the true meaning of Pain.

If you know her,

Which, I’m sure you do,

You’d probably ask her,

Why she calls you, even past two.

Truth is, she doesn’t.

She wants to hear your voice.

But how can she...

When she thinks she annoys.

Now, do you miss her? I don’t think so my dear.

For if you did, you wouldn’t go farther, you’d be near.

Near enough for her to hold,

Your warm hand in the freezing cold.

She doesn’t want to tell you this,

She is too afraid.

She thinks its not worth it, her mind is made.

Now she knows she has lost a friend,

And she wonders, how will their friendship ever mend?

She thinks it best if she goes,

And if she does, there should be no tears and woes.

She knows she destroys whatever comes to her touch.

But all she wanted to say, was how she missed you

So so much.
