What Colour Am I?

Inside or outside

By Margaret WatsonPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

What colour am I?

Look on the outside or on the inside. You decide.

Take your pick.

Then look at the others, the ones I am akin to.

The pale, the blonde, the dark, the brown, the ones with bright red hair, Swedish, Spanish and even Moor.

The tight curls and hair so straight, the very short, and the ones you have to look up to – all are part of me.

My DNA says Nordic, north African, Celt and more.

Look at my grandchildren - very different, yet they share that same DNA plus the Irish and the German from their dad.

As they say ‘It’s complicated’, more of a rainbow than a colour – and every single bit is me.
