Prevention tips, or keeping cancer at bay

Cancer can make you lose your hair

and have difficulty going up a stair

Cancer does kill

Even with a certain pill

It can remove your immunity

or make it weak.

~

Where is my community

when needed. I seek

the help to get through this

I miss my sis

leukemia killed her

yes, my sister

now, maybe her mister

~

Plants to take the toxins out of the air

Air purifiers sitting all over is fair

running them when we are out of the house

is the best as they do make noise, the spouse

prefers using them when we are gone

walk on the treadmill, don't mow the lawn

roundup has been blamed for my type of cancer

it is important not to kill the dandelions

Or plant a crop that they spray is one answer

Someone told me to eat more onions

~

I take the doable tips and diet is one of those

and some of those tips blows

sugar feeds cancer they say.

I don't eat it today.

Fruit and carrots are the exception

some things are a misconception

I have a chi machine

and I do eat more green

and there is exercise

I try to stop eating fries

~

Far infrared

in something like a tanning bed

to stay in to kill cancer

yes sir

there is a protocol

give Linda a call

Then an ERE machine

Eat a few more bean

I don't smoke

smoking is no joke

~

Prevention is to laugh more

and to cry more, something I abhor

Well, not the laughing today

It guarantees a better day

Even just fake laughter and smiles

Our brain doesn't know the difference

We can go far on fake smiles, yes, miles

So many things are just indifference

Get in the game

I know that sounds lame

Eat right, exercise, and handle the toxins

are my main focus today

and to rock out in my moccasins

Now laugh and cry more and enjoy your day

You put a lot of things and ideas into perspective with one. Great job.

  • Oh wow, I had no idea that our brain doesn't know the difference between fake smile/laugh!

Of all the evils that humanity has had to face, cancer would have to be the biggest scourge. It takes so many lives in the most painful way and leaves many more to suffer the silence of those lost. There is a lot to be said for a positive attitude and laughter:" "Prevention is to laugh more."

your advice is spot on!! yet, there are those who for their own reasons, refuse treatment. My dad, although knew he had a problem, refused testing. Said that we die from something. He died from colon cancer. My brother asked his doctor, if he agreed to chemo and radiation, could the doctor cure him. When his doctor said no but could extend his life, my brother said, "why, to make you rich? I'd rather live the rest of my life my way." He died of liver cancer sixteen months later. While it truly hurt to lose them to these horrible diseases, I can understand their points of view. How I wish cancer could be completely eradicated . . . . but then, if it was, pharmacies and oncologists, etc, would lose so much money. They get rich making us die. Sorry to be so skeptical, but it's how I feel.

Love your advice, Denise, and deeply philosophical thoughts about cancer.

Lol, I'm picturing you rocking out in your moccasins now. Cancer is evil, my sister has brain cancer. I love your advice to laugh and smile more 😃
