What About Me?
For Poppy's Prompts No. 13 - Greek Mythology Edition (Calliope): Entry No. 2

Am I the only one who gets it?
Am I the only one you can adore?
Open your mind and shut the door...
That's how I work. Now sit
And stare at the screen, the wall,
Or even that naked blank page
(that's your only real stage).
It can take your thoughts, big or small.
But don't look for me there.
This is all on you. With my crown and tablet,
I have other things on my mind (bet!).
For you and your blocks and stress, I don't care.
You always know what to say.
You just need me to guide the way.

Another great poem! So well written :)
Nice take on Poppy's prompts, Kendall. The blank page is always a battle for me. When it happens, I turn off the screen or close my pad and walk away. Then realization tells me it never really was a battle; it just wasn't the right time.

Cleverly done. Calliope & her inspiration of wonderful words.
I know I commented on this but it is gone. Love it, find the muse that works for you, yet a muse will come when it is ready
So true. Inspiration comes where and when it may
