What a Shame

We died

What a shame, we died

You tried to love me

But you lied

Oh, you didn't mean to

You tried your best

But it's never enough

What a bloody mess

But I must confess

I don't think any less

Of you, I just don't think I am capable

Of this kind of congress

Trying to get everything from one person

Always causes huge stress.

What a sadness

Our love fled

You said that I'd become

Your sister instead

Family is a beautiful thing

But it isn't reason enough

To wear a ring.
