What a life style!

Rise upon the sun lights glow,

Courage to rise, hearts to know,

Stride upon the wilderness trail,

Speak your business, tell your tale,

Courage to muster, bullets to gather,

Mangy dog fight, would not rather,

Desert dwelling, salty saloon,

Hearty song of the spirits tune,

Ride upon with an upright chest,

As the sun sets in the west,

Keg to shatter, drink till dawn,

“Why are my beer stores always gone?”

Spend your portion and your silver,

Now your herding steer to deliver,

What a way to live your life,

Full of cow folk and desert strife,

So another day comes and goes by,

Where cowboys go to die.
