Welcome to Monster Prom

where chaos reigns supreme

By Luna JordanPublished 3 months ago 1 min read
you need to play the game(s) asap!

Welcome to Monster Prom,

it's a natural disaster in disguise;

it's where the hallways could start burning,

and where the chaos will inevitably rise.

*

Four poor unfortunate fools step forward,

each weird with behaviors to unfold;

with their hearts full of trouble,

and their ages varying,

they are left with stories untold.

*

Oz, the physical embodiment of fear's concept,

is shy and good-hearted.

He can be dorky, he can be anxious,

but overall, they're a

mystery wrapped in

a yellow cardigan.

*

Amira, of Fire Djinn descent,

all cunning and intense,

scheming up disasters

in love’s little game.

*

Brian, the zombie-like person,

he's lazy and chill, and

socially awkward,

and a foodie.

*

Vicky, the girl who looks like

she could be the bride of Frankenstein's monster,

she loves all things mechanical, and

there's some mischief in her smile.

*

Now, enter the crushes,

each bringing more havoc:

*

Liam, the vampire,

pretentious and a hipster,

he's almost constantly rolling his eyes.

*

Polly, the ghost,

she loves to party.

A drug-and-alcohol fueled disaster

who really likes to get laid.

*

Scott, the werewolf,

all muscle, no brain.

He’ll chase every squirrel,

like a loveable puppy.

*

Damien, the demon,

hot-tempered and loud,

answers with fists first, logic second,

and he's most likely to

burn down the school.

And the town.

*

Vera, the gorgon with green

snakes for hair, she's

sharp-witted and cold,

she thrives on corruption,

and ambition,

and, of course, gold.

*

And Miranda, the mer-princess,

royal and prim,

she's cute and polite,

but doesn't think murder is a crime.

*

There's more, of course,

and two other games,

maybe more. But then,

we'd be here all day, and I'm

getting bored.

*

So, welcome, my friend,

to where monsters and misfits are all the rage.

In classes or bathrooms, in lunchrooms or halls,

love thrives in the chaos of Spooky Academy’s walls.

*

Prom night is coming,

disaster is near—

Welcome to Monster Prom,

raise hell and let's cheer!

If I remember right, there may have been a Saturday morning cartoon along this premise a long time ago. Good job and thanks for the memory in a way.

  • Oooo, I'm definitely Miranda! I like Vera and Amira too! Scott being a werewolf, is that a nod towards the Teen Wolf series? It's funny that Liam is a vampire because he was a werewolf too in Teen Wolf
