Songs of protest in a time of change
The times they are A- Changin...I'll take you there...A Change is gonna come Yes, they are all song titles. Bob Dylan, The Staples Sisters, and Sam Cooke in that order. Great songs with great titles. I’ve included the video for Sam Cooke at the top and the other two at the bottom. Please listen to them all. A change is gonna come is my favorite of the three. The song is so powerful in the lyrics, emotion, and message. But all three songs were powerful voices of change in turbulent times.

How cool! I can relate to this one for sure, especially that feeling of anything could happen here! I remember it felt like no one at all read anything I wrote for awhile except for bots maybe 😩 but once I found awesome people here and started making real connections, things felt much more like a community.
