Week VII: Midterm Muses
A series of haikus...just for you
Note: I have been distracted with the exams and other work I have had to give this past week, so, this is kind of a cheat. It is series of haikus based on the excuses given by a set of students who missed part of their exams (and no, they were not allowed in).

I'll be late today
because I had to recharge
my bus pass (sorry).
*
Today, I had a
problem that prevented me
from coming to class.
*
Sir, I ask you if
there is some way I can do
the work or not, please?

Thank you for reading!

Haha! Great little excuse haikus!
Hi~'k' - So glad you 'Smiled' re: 'The Sacred Vows' - Everybody is so serious of late that that one just came to me. I know we've lost touch since our mutual interests while living in Japan. But I did learn the middle line of a Haiku is the longest - 'Arigato' - for that. And, also since I'm not a contest guy. But, I read everything you write - a couple of times to GiT-iT 'j'
Hahahahahhahaha the second one! I literally Lol-ed! 🤣🤣🤣
Whew. You're strict! Were there any excuses acceptable?
No. 2 was the best - I get that a lot - good job!
But you gave no reply to any of them?
Excuses are bad Excuses are for demons Excuses are stale!
