Weary

a soul too tired to speak

Exhaustion ringing loud,

As voices fade,

And landscapes blur,

Am I even real?

.

Every step pulls me deeper,

With every spoken word, three remain unspoken.

Existing on fumes inside,

Thriving outside.

.

As my battery depletes,

I leap from one need to the next,

Faces blur into fog,

Until my mind is lost.

.

Exhaustion lives with me,

We coexist as one,

Remembering my past,

Who am I?

.

I forget what I am,

Who I am.

I felt as if I had lost everything,

But yet I’m still here,

.

Lingering.
