Mine eyes have seen
Mine ears have heard
Little brother it won't be long
Little sister just hold on
He's coming for us
And we will see everything manifested
The struggle shall be over
The struggle can't last forever
We must keep this fervent affirmation
Mine eyes have seen

Each and every waking moment
Each and every lying down
There must resided hope in tomorrow
Mine eyes have seen
Mine ears have heard
Little brother it won't be long
Little sister just hold on
He's coming for us

We did not come this far on our own
We did not come this far easily
But down through the years we've been kept
Mine eyes have seen
Mine ears have heard
Little brother it won't be long

We will all rest one day

Let us muster up the courage to go on
