We shall reunite

I remember the last breath u took,

I remember the last time u gave me your caring look.

I remember the last 3 words u whispered in my ears,

"We shall reunite",remembering what reduces me to tears.

I remember the last time u kissed my forehead,

I remember the last gesture u made while being on your deathbed.

I remember the last time u were along with me,

When we were actually 'we'.

Holding a bunch of flowers,

Standing on your grave,

Shattered from within,

But pretending to be brave.

Wiping off my wet eyes,

And wearing a black dress,

Can see you through the cracks of the coffin,

Lying there lifeless.

As if your dead body pleading me to stop crying,

As if my soul pushing me to give in & stop trying.

Come out of that damn coffin & hug me tight,

In the days marked with darkness be my sight.

Was all alone in this world,

When u came in like a ray of hope,

Like others if u also had to leave me one day,

Then why did u gave me that false hope?

fact or fiction
