We'll Get Through This
Together We'll See the Sun Again
This blanket of calm,
Big enough to ease your alarm,
Will help get you through,
Me and you.
When will life feel right,
Without this cloak of fright?
Take heart my friend,
This too will end.
Your fear will pass in time,
Like a stinky silent crime,
As we hold on to joys,
Of life's simple ploys.
Trust we'll get back on track,
With smiles we'll not lack.
Have faith, stay strong,
This won't last long.
The light still shines behind the clouds,
As hope within us grows and crowds.
Stay strong, have courage, we will cope,
United in our faith and hope.
Be still, breathe deep,
You'll get through this sleep.
Together we'll weather the storms,
And soon feel life's normal forms.
