Life seemed unfair.
Between us
We gazed at each other.
We were hoping for something great.
Love at first sight.
Our hearts softened.
It felt so amazing.
Our despairing eyes met.
Our hearts expressed a wish.
It's as if we were in control of the fate.
Despite our differences,
We knew that we belonged somewhere.
Putting our partners aside.
Accepting was heartbreaking.
That we will never be together.
We had to accept it and walk away.
