we differ.
we are different.
i see myself as other to you, and you are not the same as me.
we differ, and we must live with this.
but it is the distance between us that is threatening when we decide we must look into each others' eyes and think.
thinking...
i figured that at the very least, we would differ.
but never this much.
a little feels like we are skimming over the ocean
before the rock decides to sink, grasped forcefully by gravity
and we collide with the ripples that wash over our different faces.
we are reminded of our differences as the water cleanses our mind.

The idea of differences and the impact they have is really interesting. It makes me think about how we often try to connect despite our disparities. Have you ever had an experience where differences between people led to a powerful realization, like in this description? It makes me wonder how we can better embrace those differences in our daily lives.
