We Died Alone

Loved Once

We once lived, we once loved, we once laughed

In a world full of life, where our hearts weren't half-afraid

But now we're gone, and our memories remain

Echoes of joy, of love, of life's refrain

We died alone, in a world so bright

With no one to hold, no one to hold tight

Our final breath, a whisper in the night

As the world moved on, without a fight

We left behind, a trail of tears

A legacy of love, through all the years

But even in death, our love will stay

A flame that burns bright, in a world that's grey

We died alone, but our love will be

The one that shines bright, for you and me

A beacon in the dark, a guiding light

That will lead us home, to the other side of night
