We Are Made into Jugglers
And we are struggling to keep the show going

My mother did not go to college,
and was not expected
to earn bread and butter.
Yet, she had a housemaid
to help her with chores,
house, yard, dishes.
I have a PhD, double MS,
and most of my youth
went into hard studies,
midnight oil burning was necessary,
yet I do all chores mostly alone.
Destiny placed us
in an expensive place,
so, I need to earn.
I try, but there are little kids.
they want engagement,
make noise, throw tantrums.
Rage bubbles in me like rumbling lava,
you don’t demand it all
from one person,
we are here to enjoy life
while living with purpose,
body and mind have its limits.
Yet I fear, this is what
all women are going through
in these changing times,
we are made into jugglers,
and not expected to drop
our ball, bottles, or
whatever odd things,
we are tring to catch.

What a poem on how lifestyles change over time yet stay the same. Good job.
So true they say women can multitask, yeh only because we have got no choice. 🌺🌺🌺
