We Are Just Skin and Bones.

Place your hand over my heart.

Can you feel it?

A whisper like a breath.

My heart beats under your palm.

That deep thumping inside my chest.

It travels down my arm towards you.

My hand presses over your heart.

There is a connection like no other.

They beat together as one.

An invisible tie wraps around us.

It pulls us closer to each other.

I can feel it.

That's life and it's pumping out love.

Through our veins and into our bodies.

Same ones we are touching right now.

I know you know.

I kiss your forehead taking you in.

Sure, we are just skin and bones.

But our heartbeats are forever.

We are eternal.

About the Creator

Rabbit

I see the world a little differently than most. Even at a young age I was writing down what I saw but never sharing it with a soul until now. I'm choosing love over fear.
