We Are Done
On the end of the STM (Société de Transport de Montréal) Strike
The strike is over:
long exhale; happier thoughts.
And who do we blame?

Note: I just learned in the middle of teaching a class that the STM (Société de transport de Montréal) ended their strike (well, the maintenance workers, at least). Things might shut down on the weekend, but all digits are crossed that this will be the new norm.
I will try to write more about this later, but I am just relieved that things have been suspended for now, and that I do not have to rearrange my schedule to get to work, or foot the bill for another taxi or Uber.
You never know what you can miss until it is not there...

I don't miss the too many days and nights of having used the STM for too many years. I'll take a cab or walk if I lose my car : )
There are so many strikes everywhere... I'm glad your commute got back to normal, I know from experience how annoying it can be when you can't get to work.
🚆🚉Life is so unpredictable sometimes. A couple strikes from a few individuals, could have you spending more than you are comfortable with. This was an important topic to base your haiku on.
