We are all Stardust

We should follow the universe's lead and be harmonious

We are made of stardust, connected to the cosmos and the unseen

Forever wanting to connect, but never seem to see the seam

Between the seen and the unseen, entwining the universe and us

We are a part of it, as it is a part of us

The complexity of the universe, comparable to within

As the brain informs the move, the tides are informed by the moon

As veins spread like rivers within, and the black hole pulling everything in

A universe exists within us

As the white knights defend against disease, the ozone defends against what the sun decrees

The universe reflected within us. From the skin down to tiny atoms

We are connected.

Yet often there appears

Differences

The universe is harmonious and balanced

Yet humans can’t stand each other

Its seems creating differences is our talent

Harmony exists in the world

From how the moon with its gravity chauffeurs

To the crocodile and the tiny Egyptian Plover

Why don't we try to get closer?

Harmony appears in the unlikeliest of places, so there’s still hope

That humanity can recognise they are designed to be a collective

Not mechanised with their approach, and imperceptive

To others around, simply due to perceived contrasts

I hope they fold within the rest of existence and craft

Harmony…

The hate they should outlast.

A wonderfully inspirational poem, Mohammed! The first line brought to mind an old Joni Mitchell song, "Woodstock." It was written about the hippy movement, but the chorus has always stuck in my mind: "We are stardust We are golden And we've got to get ourselves Back to the garden" This is probably my favorite version of the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIHfuihoz70
