Wax-Dripped Canvas

~

By Rowan Finley Published 4 months ago β€’ Updated 4 months ago β€’ 1 min read

Candle wax was used for royal seals.

But, today, blue, green, yellow, and white wax dripped onto a canvas.

Before the wax cooled, two complementing flowers jumped into the pool of expression.

Then a paintbrush took a gander here and there, ushering in more texture...

Before much longer, the song below played and dreams stirred.

Abstract emotions ruptured beautifully, with simple complexity.

This is very creative and a beautiful way to give a candle new expression by moving it into a free-flowing molten state and letting it evoke. Of course, " Photograph" is a poignant feeling of wanting to capture the moment at hand and keep it. Very thought- provoking piece~ 😊
