Waves and Particles

A poem.

words written in a straight line

are never as straight as they seem

as a beam of light teems with

waves and particles all aflutter

still illuminating onto the same end

but were do the flutters of words

take us in the end

why so many diversions to and fro

unstable in its course

but isn’t that just life

it’s the age-old question where are we going

what is the end what is the point

to wibble and wobble this way and that

a wave of light complex from its travels

all pieces of the journey united

in a soul
