Waterfall

Love can flow through a storm and surround you in peace when it is over.

Like life, like love, and all that we attain from it, nature often shows a great parallel to the way our spirits grow and retreat, merge and remain calm, storm and then find peace like the majestic flow of a …

Waterfall.

It usually starts as a peaceful brook. Smooth as silk, the very essence of life.

The trees stand tall like mountains. The flowers and greenery blossom like obedient children as they surrounds this beautiful force that shows us just what power an element can bring. In viewing it, you suddenly realize that the scene is set for this serene and majestic wonder.

It is an amazing sight, like love - quiet and peaceful in motion, slowly moving over the rocky obstacles, the hatred and the pain; its silence somehow is full of music as it comes to a precipice of fear and cascades down into a pool of excitement.

Like a child captivated in curiosity - it steps forward on hope, on faith, and then plunges into the abyss.

Like a waterfall, my love has slid into a mellow race towards the ultimate. The fall into the storm of your arms was dangerous and painful, but also beautiful and soothing.

Look at how the water glides over the edge and comes together in a rush at the bottom. The passion, the strength, the understanding, is all at the end of the fall. It knows it holds the great secret of life, as it merges back into the flowing serenity of where it first began.

To submerge ourselves in that blue silk of water is heaven. It is as though the finest material is wrapping around our skin. It is like the love in my arms as I hold you close.

This is God’s creation, like you and I. We have fallen like a waterfall and only God knows how to merge us back into that peaceful brook.

As dangerous and cloudy as water can be, so is hate. As beautiful and mystical as water can be, so is love.

They say that love and hate run side by side. I think you can “choose” to hate, but you are “driven” to love. My love runs over you like a waterfall. Can you feel it?

The forgiveness in my heart moves continuously through you, like a waterfall. Can you see it?

My spirit embraces yours like the soothing depths of a waterfall. Can you hold it?

Like a shower from the heavens as it descends from the sky, feel the tears of our water fall.

Like the fallen trees and rocks in the waters path, I can see our disagreements and it hurts to flow over them.

But like the waters determined glide, I know when all else fails, love will endure the fall, conquer the chaos, and merge back into that glistening silken peace... like a waterfall.
