Water's Edge

I stand

by the

water's edge,

I see you

rise

sword in hand.

You thrust

the blade into me

deconstructing

everything I am.

Your love enters

me so deep

I can but only weep.

I bleed

for you today,

my valentine.

I'd sacrifice

it all if you

would be mine.
