Dreams and metal birds, fly
across my sky, waiting for
the day I take flight

I love haiku poetry and yours is very strong
Do you plan to be a pilot, Will?
I especially loved the metal birds and that last line!
Sublime, chap, sublime! that last line is so rich in meaning!
I like the last bit, the dual meaning that comes from "waiting until I take flight". It could be in reference to your mortality or a coming trip... very thought provoking!! Nicely done Will!
"Metal birds," I like that. Well done, Will.
