Was there a winner?

You run and I’ll chase, I’m sick of this game

your rings, my books on a bedside table,

loving me always, even unstable,

darkness is nothing to a twin flame.

How could words capture the unseen divine?

Magic reality, tip of my tongue,

in love too early, too stupid, too young,

got on that plane thought you’d always be mine.

Two hearts were broken, one mind tormented,

saw me move on, I just pretended,

deluding myself we never ended,

our love a little messy and bended,

just one kiss babe, you know we’d be mended,

remember the days we were transcended?
