Underneath her buxom lies the heart of a woman who can battle a sickness with a quickness.

She drinks from a bravery cup. She also never loss a battle because she never gave up.

Breast cancer came knocking at her door trying to wash her off the face of the earth, but this is her turf.

Oh how we adore the strength she always had. The diagnosis made me mad, but she was never sad.

She said I’m gonna beat this demon with every breath of life in me.

If it means I leave this world then I won’t go quietly.

What she was is a true fighter. When she took her eternal rest I raised a lighter.

Real warriors wear pink and no matter what you may think, even when they pass on they’re never extinct.

~~Dedicated to every warrior who has ever fought against breast cancer.
