War Ship

Beneath the waves,

a ship and crew,

sank down.

A ship lost, torn apart,

The crews all gone.

A final cry all lost to sea.

Guns silenced,

All killed are the Crew.

hearts stop beating

A tale of war,

a tragic game.

The ocean's grasp,

Aa watery grave,

claims the brave,

In silence soured.

The ship's last stand,

a fading light

Lost in the depths,

a watery grave for all.

Honours and tributes

goes to out the men,

to those all drowned.

Their sacrifice,

a historic story to tell

In the dark blue,

where waves do roar

Their memory still lives,

it‘s history forever more.
