Wants It To Be Quiet On A Mother's Day

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

This Mother's Day morning
Is carefully washing and
Quietly drying...
Taking out the pets
To stay with thee.
And playing the radio is
Low today, just enough
For dear M-O-M,
Smiles with tea.
Until the sun finishes...
The presence is in the living,
And the kid's room
Isn't knowingly.
But she keeps,
We're all sneaks.
She's quite wants quiet on
This Mother's Day,
Surprise!
