Wander

To oblivion and beyond

By Natalie FelixPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

I wandered across the Earth,

barefoot and vulnerable.

I danced across the universe,

unabated by my mortal coil.

And found the "something" I had been searching for.

You came into view,

through darkness and dread.

Your hand held mine,

like it was precious and rare.

We escaped together into a beautiful darkness.

There was balance and bliss,

in our infinity of space.

There were truths and fallacies,

in the depths of our eyes.

The beginning in the end could not be thwarted.

I wandered far away from you,

hid in caverns across the galaxy.

You recreated your reality,

found another soul to vex.

We abandoned the wish to the vacuum of space.
