Dizzy Dance of Dreams

One, two, three,

Fluid, twirl, free,

One, two, three,

Pastels, birds, marquee.

One, two, three,

The dance of jubilee,

One, two, three,

Twirl again, carefree!

One, two, three,

Press closer to me,

One, two, three,

Hearts beating in a flurry... uh oh...

---

Enchanting, the waltz may be,

Spinning with your devotee,

Remember to keep your head steady,

Or you'll end up very dizzy!

A/N: Another dance poem for your consideration! I felt the repetition of 'one, two, three' was essential for a poem about the waltz. I also tried to keep that rhythm in the other lines with the exception of the final verse. I hope reading this felt like waltzing the night away! Though, I did have to include a shout-out to those of us who get motion sickness!!

As I write this note, I am one hour away from my internal ultrasound scan that will diagnose exactly what has been happening inside my womb. I am really hoping for good news! I will keep you all updated <3

I like this. Reading it felt like a dance, which I assume is exactly the point. Well done.
