Walking on Broken Glass
My feet bleeding. I still walk away from you forever

Walking on Broken Glass
Walking on broken glass
the silence cuts deeper than the glass
every step a reminder
of what was once whole
The floor remembers
each crack carries an echo
my feet leave behind whispers
that sting more than blood
Every splinter knows my name
it carves truth into the soles of my feet
the burn is real the sting is mine
yet I keep moving forward
Shards glint like eyes watching
they wait for me to fall
but I stand taller with every cut
I taste the iron of defiance
Pain becomes rhythm
a song only I can hear
a melody of survival
threaded in scars
The ground becomes a mirror
splintered faces staring up
reminding me of the weight I carry
reminding me I am still whole
I walk because I must
because the glass cannot hold me
it breaks but I remain
raw yet unshattered
Walking on broken glass
I claim the ground
I claim my breath
I claim myself
No more broken glass
I walk away from you
I won the bloody war
I walk away wounded but stronger
