The ones build by imagination,
The damaged ones done by desperation,
The dark ones pooling with orange moonlight,
The ones you've won by brainpower's fight,
The ones twisted into a thousand knots,
The wide empty ones like parking lots,
Walk me through through the alleyways in your mind,
No, chase me down them. Chase me down them in black leather Oxfords,
Past your childhood home, and the gnarly oak tree you loved to climb,
Past the alleyways of your school corridors, right up to the room that chafed you into a man.
The alleys that brought you right into my arms.
