VOICES

Do you hear them ticking?

You want words?

Oh, I can do words.

You see, words are MY domain.

Hide behind your screen, little weakling.

I'm an actor too. I read your words and I listen.

And you read mine and you whimper.

I know what it is that you're thinkin'

But fuck no, it's not stopping.

Go on, jump. We'll be watching.

.

I don't like the cowards who play with the lions.

They don't deserve the respect we give each other.

The lion must fight to the blood and bones

Prove that she's worth it,

To roar on the stone.

.

You wander in,

Tapping away furiously.

ChatGPT speeches go for hours intentionally.

How dare you corrupt them to think this is normal,

And the expectation is that the world is this boring.

MY WORDS ARE THEIR VOICE

And yet you keep on trampling

Storm your way through til your neck in neck, cowering.

Don't think I don't see through your petty spelling errors

You sit there wondering how to keep on changing us.

It's only a matter of time til' we're marching at sunrise

Up to your doors front and centre, ignore us? Start LISTENING.

We won't stop now there's no point 'coz you're hiding

These words have MEANING

So don't think we won't use them.

It was a very passionate poem, but I wonder who it's aimed at. Is this Coward all of your fans and readers or someone specific that you are too cowardly to name?
