Two villains, one masterpiece?

We crafted masterpieces from hearts we slayed

Loved like cruelty was a work of art

Villains aren’t born; they’re made

I hunted flaws, sharpened my blade

Cut first so you had no strength to dart

We crafted masterpieces from hearts we slayed

You hid your feelings behind a barricade

Built walls I schemed to smash apart

Villains aren’t born; they’re made

We ripped at each other slowly, unafraid

Withholding warmth, withholding heart

We crafted masterpieces from hearts we slayed

We weaponized every past mistake

Too proud to bend, too stubborn to restart

Villains aren’t born; they’re made

Now we are dust, ruins of the war we waged

Both of us complicit in what broke apart

We crafted masterpieces from hearts we slayed

Villains aren’t born; they’re made
