The damn rhythm annihilator

I'll burst your eardrums

Takes you on a trip around the slums

So you can see how we treat the bums

of society

Then you can deny the reality

Throwaway culture

Haute couture

Brand new smartphone

Same old ringtone

If you take a picture, it won't last any longer; I'm sorry

Than, experiencing it, not through a lens, don't worry

Got a lovely little black dress

Covering her covert unhappiness

When you see the red light

Don't stop when it's late at night

when you see the bums fight

Don't interrupt; just make light

What if you were the bum on the corner?

What if it was your sister? Would you warm her?

There are a million and one things we can do better

But round and round we go

Where it stops, we all know

We all know

Celebrate the hate

Take the bait

And don't mind me

I'm just venting, you see
