Vanishing Act: The Curious Case of Serene's Disappearance

Unraveling the Office Mystery That Left Us All Puzzled

By Elle ColonPublished about a year ago 1 min read
Where is this girl?

Emails I fired, into the digital void,

"Tuesday at 10?"—I felt so annoyed.

At 11:30, I tried once more,

But Serene had vanished, like folklore.

Next morning she wrote, "Out of the office," she said,

While visions of her hiding danced in my head.

With Nat, we snooped, Sherlock and Watson,

Her office was empty, just dust and some crayons.

In search of Serene, I began my spree,

At 11 AM sharp, it was just me.

From the gym to the courtyard, I did roam,

In classes and theater—no sign, no home.

At 3:15, I saw IT on the scene,

Fixing her computer, what did it mean?

"Check the logins!" I begged with a grin,

He showed me July, just twice she’d been in.

I snapped a quick shot, sent it to Nat,

"Serene’s a ghost, can you believe that?"

For a missing Serene, a mystery so grand,

She’s Houdini at work, with a much better plan!
