Valentine's Dream

the last 50 words of the 14th

By Savannah K. WilsonPublished 11 months ago 1 min read
well ... that happened

Must be a dream

A trick of the blue light

How my heart fluttered

Taking that leap

One single moment

Of bravery, hope, and love

*Deep breath*

Here I go

Ask the question

And wait

Not for long

'I accept,' she says

Is this a dream?

Must be a dream

This is so cool! That moment when someone accepts a marriage proposal lasts an eternity and always causes a swell of emotions. You captured it beautifully! ⚡💙⚡

It wasn't a dream, if she accepted, or least I hope not. Well Done!!

Short, sweet, and full of heart—like the perfect moment frozen in time. Feels like holding your breath before everything changes. Love it!

  • I hope it's not a dream but the reality. Loved your poem!
