Valentine's Day

So, another Valentine's Day is almost here,

but what is Valentine's Day?

This is supposed to be the one day that LOVE is in

the air for one and all.

Is that true?

Can one give one self a valentine?

Valentine's Day to me is a journey down the road in

the search for that something.

In school we all had to give each other Valentine cards

to fill the Valentine's bags we made in art then there was

a party--remember those.

When you got to the upper grades on this day you may have

seen candy given and maybe even flowers for the steadys

that were there.

Moving on now out of school and into college how many future engagements happened this day.

Again, moving on to employment and marriage and finding the one, if that is even possible.

Is there anything wrong with loving oneself and just being happy they way you are

or

Do you have to find that ONE that might not be down that road that it seems that everyone travels.

You have hearts and flowers and candy and rings and something special on this day.

I mainly give myself a hug and a glass of wine and say

Happy Valentine's Day!
