Up Here

A Bird's Eye View

We sit up here

All tall and proud,

To peck and caw

At the passing crowd.

We perch up here

All smug and coy,

To screech and scare

The next girl or boy.

We squat up here

And admire the view,

Watching and waiting

And aiming our poo.

We stand up here

And watch the world go by,

Singing our tunes

And saying hi to the flies.

About the Creator

Sarah O'Grady

I like to play with words to escape reality. Or at least to try and make sense of it.
