untrusted fund

spending beyond tomorrow's must

"candy hard" ⸘jason alan‽ acrylic on canvas 2025

he comes together from pieces

people, places, and so many things

collected from experiences

an exponential doorknob

with the portal that always revolves

defensively virile and prolific

simple coping mechanisms

a catalytic individual

he sets fires

in domains claimed by eminent design

exercising a right to futility

the future will devour everything

time is the ultimate apex

predating everything

claiming to be sovereign

until only the infinite eons are left

to wonder and wandering why

emptiness is so vast

what it is and

what is on the other side

solitary and productive

tell me when we reach infinity

reactive and refined for consumption

three lumps of knowledge

knocked on his noggin

on one philosopher

and one left over

responding negative

positive is as positive does

untrusted fund

spending beyond tomorrow's must

all is fair and none are free

in love and limerence

while lust considers options

Such an intriguing read. This is the kind of poem you want to reread just to catch more layers each time.
