Open Heart Surgery

It's been said that if you're truly in love with someone,

the same love for another will not exist.

An old flame has burnout,

and it's YOU that I miss.

But how can it be?

Is it crazy to think that maybe,

these feelings I feel for you - you feel mutually towards me?

Silly complications;

thoughts of you is the only time that I'm wastin'.

I open my heart, though it's a confusing organ;

feels like an emergency when we're apart,

and I am no surgeon.
