Mr. Bee

No matter the size,

nor intelligence,

nor status of being,

Anger can manifest in the smallest vessel.

A noisy bee consciously enters a building,

soon becomes irritated that it can't leave

so it pleads,

but isn't this what Mr. Bee wanted?

To be apart of a new world?

Mere seconds fill him with panic.

Disruptive sounds convulse throughout his body.

Anxiety may appear aggressive or indifferent,

Not a good look to the ones perceiving him.

There's no middle ground,

there's no satisfaction.

Now if you find a being embodying both,

I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't simply zen,

or born with a balanced gem within them.

I wonder if something more sinister lives there,

or if they're a child expected to be a certain way,

for it to backfire on the ones who raised them.

Maybe all of the above.
