Untied Shoes

Yet you chose slip on shoes, what were you trying to prove?

By Ecarg NosivePublished 9 months ago 1 min read

I am untied shoes

But not on combat boots

The knot I tied is loose

The laces are confused

Because

I am slip on shoes

Nothing binds me together

I am easy to use

Capable & Clever

I can stay on the feet of those who step in me

Except I can’t

Because my length exceeds their size

Oh please

Forgive me as you trip

And excuse me as you

Fall

You can’t blame me though

You’re the one who put me on

Combat boots

Stay sturdy.. maybe try those

Tennis shoes

Stay comfortable

Although not as comfortable as slippers at home

The click clack of heels is the sound of feet on their way to greed & lust

There are so many other options for you to choose

Yet you chose the one

That shows that you have not grown from all that you’ve learned

.. we all know it’s because you are nothing

So I try to leave you bare

Maybe you’ll learn your lesson

Once you step on a rusty nail.
