Wow! I loved it! This painted a picture of someone in meditation, with the truth surfacing through the repetition of the mantra.

It has an hypnotic quality. Like an affirmation to a mirror.

I like how it shifts perspective throughout, questioning and reaffirming. It feels both mythic and personal. The use of "serpent goddess" alongside "ugly" and "beauteous" creates a tension that's really compelling.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and this is one way to view the goddess Medusa. Good job.

  • The repetition made it seem like a mantra. I loved it!

Interesting, haven't heard of the challenge. It is kind of mesmerizing to read. The repetition almost has a subliminal feel to it.
